Clifton Greene, born in Bristol Connecticut in 1948, is an accomplished
Free-lance Fine Artist. Cliff, as he is known to the Art world, boasts
many accomplishments including serving as an Arts Co coordinator, Art
instructor, and Art Director to name a few.
Cliff's Art education began at Thomas Snell Weaver High School in Hartford.
He later attended college at Central Stated University and the University
of Hartford where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts. He later attended
Howard University where he worked toward his Master of Art Educations
degree.
Cliff has exhibited his Art in many venues including the Hartford Civic
and Arts Festivals and P.U.S.H. Expo Art Exhibit. He has also won numerous
awards including Best in Show and Best All-Around Artist. Cliff prefers
commissioned work, which often allows him to transform a simple
photograph in a fine piece of artwork. The mediums that he utilizes
are pencil and oil. Cliff has been praised for the attention to detail
that is apparent in all of his artwork. Cliff possesses an uncanny ability
to render an exact duplication of a photograph onto canvas or paper.
Cliff's work has been collected by Art lovers the country over.
